A small local golf club wishes to have a website build. We have the designs ready so the job will require cutting up graphic and creating the pages in HTML4 or HTML5. CSS style sheets must be used and the developer would be encouraged to use the W3C coding standards as a guideline. The HTML build should use div sections opposed to using tables to build the sections of the website unless they are used for displaying data. The server which this will be installed is a 1&1 Linux managed server and any processing should be handled through PHP version 5. The database in use will be a MySQL db. The website has roughly 15 pages with an additional 18 pages which describe each hole. A contact us form (not finalised but will consist of the standard amount of fields) A guest book which allows for customers to leave feedback. This will need to be vetted before going live. The site will also require a content management system which allows to edit each page content. There will also be an affiliate advertising channel which will require access to change the graphics and the links. The sizes for these individual ads may vary but they will all equal a constant height. Currently the design shows 2 adverts however this may be replaced with a range of 1 - 6 as a guide. There will be a login section for members to see internal documents that cannot be accessed without signing in. These documents are general meetings and will be shown across all logins (not individual to the member). All members will be added to a downloadable csv file so that the administrators can quickly access the mailing list. Each member will have the option to unsubscribe during or after they have registered. The club uses an external score card and the site will not need to import any external scores however they hold competitions which will require the admin to enter the scores for each competition and will show on the left side on particular pages (see visual). A news section will also be required with news titles and snippets showing on some pages on a column on the left side. These will link to a full page detailing the full article. An RSS feed will be required for the news articles. I have a site map and the graphic ready to provide and the job is definite and we wish to commence asap.
